Target Audience:

Licensed psychologists and physicians or colleagues in advanced stages of training. Colleagues with other basic training may attend SchemaCounseling/Coaching/Focal Therapy courses as appropriate.

Contents:

Tell me how you were loved and I'll tell you how you make love" - ​​this quote describes very well how the schemas developed in early childhood also affect the area of ​​sexuality. In the lecture “Sexuality in schema therapy – how schemas and modes can influence sexual experience” concrete examples and the background of a sex therapy model will be used to explain how dysfunctional schemas can affect sexual experience and behavior. It is shown how schema and sex therapy interventions can be combined to address these problems.

The training covers 6 hrs. and count for continuous education credit points.
